An update was given for the innovative First Nation housing project. Since its inception Vancouver’s Senakw project has been dedicated to revolutionizing sustainable housing practices while honoring and integrating Indigenous wisdom and culture. The project aims to not only achieve net-zero operational carbon but also to serve as a model for future urban developments worldwide. This project will be Canadas first large-scale net zero operational carbon housing development and one of only a few in the world.
Foresight Bc. delivered a visual summary of policy-based mechanisms for hydrogen development in Metro Vancouver that is providing a roadmap for collective action and informed decision-making, driving progress towards a sustainable and hydrogen-powered future for the region.
